The
current country brief is part of a broader effort to improve understanding of
how child labour in changing in the Latin America and Caribbean (LAC) region
over recent years, and to ensure that policies relating to child labour
adequately reflect these changes.
Building on data from
the Encuesta de Hogares from 1999 to 20005 t
he country brief provides an overview of the child labour phenomenon in
Bolivia.
Particular attention is given to the links between child labour and
schooling.
